You have to give credit where credit is due. ML makes physically tough locks, but for some reason chooses to install really crappy cores that are vulnerable to the simplest of attacks. A TINY bit of effort on their part could turn things around for them...
@johnopalko52235 жыл бұрын
@@bosnianbill It does make you wonder, doesn't it? These people aren't stupid and I'm sure they understand how vulnerable their cores are. I suspect their engineers regularly push for improvements and are overruled by the cost accountants every time.

@@anthimatter They don't have to make good stuff. They have name recognition, marketing and distribution deals. It hardly matters if their stuff is any good, they're selling to people who will never watch these videos and have no clue about actual security (the same people who think TSA does any good at airports). Unless they start making locks out of cheese they'll still keep selling millions of locks.
@bosnianbill5 жыл бұрын
@@John_Ridley You're right, but just imagine the business opportunity IF they made a simple upgrade to the cores of their products. They are already pretty good at protecting against PHYSICAL attacks for most of their product line. If only the cores were a bit more resistant to low/no skill raking attacks... Their cost would be easily offset by an increase in sales.
