I just upgraded from an unknown amp to a 2-speaker to a Boss 500W, 4-speaker system. The sound quality is great but unfortunately 500W is not enough to power 4-speakers for freeway use. If you are using more than 2 speakers, I would recommend you go with at least 1000 watts. Always better to have more than you need instead of less :(.

At best, take a 0 off those numbers. 1000w is 90 amps 12v, absolutely no way in hell is ANY bike able to produce 90 amps.

@@1987FX16was just in Sturgis and a lady rolled up with a 4 speaker 1000w amp setup from 10 years ago still thumping super strong. I’ve heard a few others say 1000w amp as well on their bikes.

I've had 3 sets of them, the mc400 and the 420b. they usually last from 2-4 months. I use to use it 5 days a week at about 70-80% volume on my bike for about 1-2 hours at a time. Go easy on them at first, that's how i broke my second set, the first sets left speaker went out. The third speakers amp started acting funny and the speakers would turn off on bumps, opened up the amp and saw nothing strange and cleaned it all up and found no difference. I just get it on amazon and get the warranty, they take care of it and give my money back, so only get them from amazon and if they break, contact the third party warranty they offer or just try contacting amazon directly and try getting them to return it. They're very loud and worked fine, I used them a lot so I don't like bashing on the product if its served its purpose at 100 bucks. Get those add-a-fuse kits and just plug it in through that. good luck, ONLY BUY FROM AMAZON AND TRY GETTING WARRANTY.
