Thankyou! It took me ages to find a demo that shows what it sounds like playing open chords. A lot of demonstrators seem to be more interested in showing off their own musical prowess that demonstrating a full range of techniques so good job that man!

Awesome demo on how to "properly" use this pedal! I had this pedal for a minute and decided to whip it out and searched for a quick tutorial and you were my first click! Thank you so much for sharing! It's actually an awesome pedal!!!

Thanks for the demo. The AC-3 sounds really nice with the Fender noiseless pickups that you've demonstrated in the vid. I have a Fender Roadhouse with the noiseless pickups. You're video sold me in getting the AC-3. Thanks again Bruddah!

I was amazed by this boss pedal when it came out. It’s very close to acoustic guitar. I recommend this pedal if you want play lead parts with bending. Not easy bending with acoustic steel strings. I agree with you, can be great for live use. Great demo!

If i use my electric jackson guitar,wil it sound acoustic ?if i use this pedal

Great demo, you've covered all the important things! This pedal is actually very usefull, my idea isn't to transform my guitar into an acoustic but rather to incoprorate it as part of a specific sound I'm after in combination with my chorus pedal. This is a good "special ingredient" pedal. Thanks!

Another quality video Chuck. From what I can hear, It sounds like the acoustic guitar sound is there in the pedal at least a little bit. I mean, I can hear it. But the problem is that something is missing. I don't know whether it's resonance or what I might call bigness. Fullness. I'm wondering if this is something that can be enhanced by EQ or another pedal that sort of increases the fullness of the signal. I don't know if i'm explaining it right. But I do agree that it sounds better on the single coils.

I’ve heard acoustic Impulse Responses can make a typical direct acoustic/electric sound a lot more realistic. I do plan on trying some acoustic IR’s in addition to the pedal to see what happens.

Hey!! 😃I gotta say that using the Boss Acoustic Simulator AC-3 with the Digitech Trio+ to Demo 🥰Dug it!!was brilliant ‼️🎛️🎸🎶✨😁👌🏾Great way to kinda give a “real world” experience and illustrate the sound , tone & feel of the pedal!! In fact BOTH actually!☝🏾🥹 Well Done! A+‼️ 👏🏾😁Especially since you played a Tele!! 👍🏾😃Dug it❣️

Gotta turn up the body a bit with the electric guitar.

Its totally necessary to clarify that this pedal NEEDS to be plug into a console/mixing board, and NOT a guitar amp. The difference in frecuencies is huge. A normal electric guitar amp amplifies mid frecuencies, which is the opposite of how a scoustic guitar should sound, thats the reason this pedal sounds like shit into a marshall or a fender.
@Chucksguitargeekery4 жыл бұрын
Yes, good call. I never plug it into a guitar amp.

@@Chucksguitargeekery Your guitar sounds real good through the AC-3 (and a lot like an acoustic). What pickup are you using on the first guitar(solid body Tele) in the demo, and is it single coil or humbucking? Thanks1
@Chucksguitargeekery3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I used a single coil telecaster neck pickup. I never liked the sound of a Humbucker with this pedal, a middle or neck position single coil works the best.

What I'm trying to figure out is this... I want to run this thing on my pedalboard. I use a pedal switcher. When I engage the pedal, I know it sends the signal to the PA, but does that essentially mute my entire pedalboard? I want to be able to use reverb and other effects on my board with this pedal.

It's alright when using an electric guitar. The Hotone Omni AC Simulation Pedal and Koogo Guitar Acoustic Pedal sound noticeably better.

Is line out balanced?🤔
@Chucksguitargeekery6 ай бұрын
I’m 99% sure it’s unbalanced. The live mixers I used usually had an unbalanced line in and I never had an issue. But, if you’re gonna have long cable runs, it would probably be best to have a little DI box to balanced XLR next to the pedal.

Hey....I'd be curious to know what you think about this situation: I have a chance to pickup the earlier version, the BOSS AC-2.....but I was wondering if I could use this with a synthesizer (Kawaii) and hoping it could turn a crappy guitar patch into a more authentic sounding acoustic guitar patch....what do you think?

I’m wondering if a clean electric guitar sound would work. I honestly have no idea lol

Hi friend. What pickiup did you use?
@Chucksguitargeekery3 жыл бұрын
I used the Fender Noiseless Tele Neck pickup. I found this pedal works best with either a middle or neck position single coil pickup.

Yep, maybe not for recording. Sounds too "boxy." Like a cheap mic was put in front of a cheap acoustic guitar.

Great demo. I got one few days ago. Have you figure it out how to get rid of the hiss noise? Specialy when the TOP knob is above 12'. Thanks.
