The Joyo Bright Day Overdrive JF-25 is based off of the BOSS Blues Driver BD-2W. The question that everyone is wondering is; how similar/different are they in terms of sound? Well, this is the video you were all looking for.

Joyo pedals are great the only one that is terrible imo is the splinter they should have just done the rat instead of the turbo rat

I have a splinter and maybe it's my favorite pedal in my board. I looking for to buy one bright day OD. I already have a Joyo Vintage OD, but I'm not much into it. I like the crunchy sound of the bright day OD.

For me it just didn’t do it it sounded thin maybe I got a bad one and it was a quality control issue but I can say this I do like the splinter as a boost

@@joshferguson9703 at first I taught it was too noisy and have concern that i got a bad one.. But I learned to use it in a way I enjoy.

Not hearing the difference is really absurd. The boss waza Craft has a full dense, creamy sound, full of harmonics and above all you can feel continuity and sustain in the sound in the passage from one note to another. The joyo pedal has a sparse and empty, thin sound. There are better pedals if you want to imitate the sound of the bd-2waza or bd-2 Keeley without spending a lot of money. The best I tried was the Mooer Blues Mood at a third of the price.
