I finally beat the Radiance :), man she was really hard to beat, i watched a lot of guides but this one is clearly the best and really helped me, there's really no "cheesing" this boss, all it takes is a decent amount of skill to know her move set and when to attack, the best advice i got here was fighting my own fight, i didn't let her dictate the pace, i'll attack when i know for sure i can do massive damage, and that worked wonders in beating her, now i can't wait for Silksong.

A guide like this would have been useful on my first Radiant Absolute Radiance attempt, I did it eventually, after soooo many tries.... Had to learn all the information above through brutal experience, I'd definitely recommend anyone who has yet to beat her, whether AR or regular Radiance to try a spell build if you're struggling. Having minimal contact during the fight definitely makes it easier as you don't have to get as close as often and makes mistakes more forgiving.

The Radiance seemed legitimately - well, if not unbeatable, like she was going to take ages just to memorize her attacks. And this video helped me beat her within a dozen attempts. I give you like 90% of the credit for me beating this. I spent probably 2 hours on it before giving up and doing Godhome because I didn't have a chance. Eventually I figured I'd look a guide up and an hour later I got her with 2 masks left. I haven't been so elated to beat a boss since Viper in my first TF|2 run

First phase was honestly the trickiest for mesince its the only phase with the spike floors and much more spear walls and spear rains. I was able to get good heals in the second phase since i healed during the laser attack (the one that surrounds her) since the range is a lot more forgiving between the changes. I also was able to get a lot of hits when she spawned on me. The third phase was really stressful since i had 2 masks, which meant nothing since she deals 2 dmg. I didnt let it get the better of me, even though i was practically trembling. I also got it a really risky heal during the first phase. Im talking 3 heals. Im suprised i didnt get hit right after. Im sure that if I hadnt healed there, i wouldnt have made it to the last phase. I also only went the the 2nd and 3rd phase on my winning attempt, so the stress was even more amplified.

13:27 Here I think it is best to just hit her with Nail attacks to charge up Soul. The platforming phase after it (13:37) is by far the hardest of the fight, so you're gonna need all the resources you can get.

Just want to add to the myriad of people thanking you for this video. I watched it after initially struggling with the Radiance, and it was helpful. I found myself getting to the "annoying phase" very consistently, but I kept choking it from there. Last night I must have tried 15 times and went to bed annoyed. Watched this video in bed again like it was suddenly going to make me better. But this time I took in a hint that I completely bypassed the first time - I turned the music down. Came home today and got him second try (one health left but aced my first attempt at the climb thankfully). Not only are the sound cues helpful but I felt it just completely calmed me down and made me more methodical. Thanks again!

When radiance is raining with spears on second face right before she goes down I recommend only using nail attack, then build up a lot of soul so when she goes down heal before starting last stage

Bro tysm much just beat radiance after maybe my 15th try it really is just all about getting a feel for his attacks and the right moves to dodge them. The ceiling spikes defo gave me the most grief. Not being Greedy with damage and staying calm after getting to the second stage. I found that just chilling out on the bottom platform helps because your less open to being hit by his attacks and makes them easier to dodge and just wailing on him and using desolate dive for s when he's on top of you. Good luck to anyone still trying. You can do it!

the hollow knight is quite easy for me, having beat it first try twice today. on the first one i did sealed siblings and on the second im still doing radiance, which i got to the second phase, but i died, thanks for this, this should help! my charm build was quick slash unbreakable heart unbreakable strength and shamans stone edit: i recommend getting all unbreakable charms as well before doing this

Did you do trial of fool ? If you are not too good, I recommend charm to heal x2, grub song, spiders, bees and quick art nail. There is a lot of moments to heal. You will get enough soul if you use few spells (unleash all at the last one), and minions can do a lot of hard work, while you stay on the walls. Of course, you need to use art nail to make good damage, but it’s approprite for these fights. You still need to be good when there is no floor.

I thought she was hard after my first two tries, but I then listened to the charm advice here and absolutely wrecked her with the up-spell. Then I did it again a few minutes later because my sister was curious. It's kind of easy if you get lucky enough that you can attack spam, the fight lasts like less than a minute before the final phase

The dream shield can also help immensely in this fight if you are struggling and thinking of giving up completely. If those orbs hit the shield the disappear and can help get away in times of need. The shield can also come around and hit the radiance for extra damage while hitting with the nail.

It's funny how easy hollow knight becomes trying to beat radiance, I timed it and I can face tank him and finish in about 40 seconds now. Im using longnail, shaman stone, quick slash and strength charm setup and it's good and I'm reasonably consistent at radiance now. Had a heartbreaking death when I was one jump away from victory. Honestly I found spells to not be the way apart from some spell spam right at the start, I thought it left me frozen in place too long and I ended up getting murdered. Given up for today, hopefully will finish tomorrow
