Boss CS-2 vs Mxr SUPER COMP | Comparison for GILMOUR and PINK FLOYD sound

They are both really good pedals, I think I slightly prefer the MXR, but hey they are really similar. The MXR Super Comp is theoretically similar to the classic MXR Dyna Comp used by David Gilmour, but with attack functionality (The Dyna Comp just has two knobs).

Ive had the mxr on my pedal board forever but the boss sounds darker and richer, especially when distorted. The mxr seems to add a kind of modern thinness to the tone.

Creo que la comparación más reveladora es el solo del final. Parece que el boss "esté fabricado para tocar ese solo". El dyna com parece más chillón ahí, mientras que el sonido del cs2 es más cálido, más Gilmour. Aún así, puede parecer importante el tema del ruido en un pedal y parece ser que boss falla un poco en ese aspecto

Thanks mate, I used fender blues junior III amp and a little bit of delay and equalizer (boss ge7) and reverb of the amp
