Seriously Great! A high end processor without 75 amps that I have never used or knew I needed to use. And it gives me amps that I have actually used and would use again. Really liked the Twin , Tweed, and Orange amps.

Juca, according to your vast experience with GT1000...for playing live (for more precise tweaking) would you recommend cutting highs in global EQ (for instance to 6.3) or doing that on EQ within a patch at the end of the chain? By the way, would it have the same effect or sound different?

Hi, depends on the PA system. But I do it per patch. Not global because I might use an acoustic guitar and them I need the extra top end. Yes, at the end after the Speaker Cab. Sounds more like an actual amp if you cut around 5 to 10. Cheers

Great video, thank you for taking the time to go through all of the amplifiers in this multi-effects unit. You are clear and concise. The new GX-100 has these exact same amplifiers in it, and in the exact same order. Oddly enough, the SY-1000 also has all of these amplifiers, speaker cabinets, microphones and the effects are either identical or darn close, also in the same order. I am curious as to where in the chain the speaker cabinets appear? I am going to subscribe to your channel. Cheers! 😊

Hello, My question is regarding the gt1000 core but its the same I would assume with gt1000. I love the gt1000 core, but I also use a chain of boss pedals (my original setup) that I love as well and dont want to lose. One of the main differences being, I dont need an amp for the gt 1000 core. I just run to FOH. Is there a way to feed my pedal chain (5 boss pedals including a special wah pedal) into the gt core, without coloring the chain in any way, until I need to? Not sure how I need to do this. Should I use them inline, into a clean patch? Should I use the pedals in effects loops? I am just unsure how to use my old setup through the GT. I was thinking maybe running my wah pedal, in (1) effects loop, and the other pedals in through the (2) effects loop, or should I run all directly to input of gt1000 via some unprocessed (Clean) patch. Any suggestions? Any help is appreciated!

That's a good question. I would run the wah in front. That's how I do it here. Clean patch if you wanna use your distortion pedals, in this case in front too. Since the GT has so many high quality effects I dropped my pedals. I use them just with my tube amps because there's no FX there. Other FX pedals you might have and if they're really necessary use them in the loop of the GT. Cheers

@@JucaNeryGuitar Thanks, I was wondering this as well. The core has alot of great tones, and worrying about all these old school pedals is a waste of time and effort to incorporate in the core. I have a boss ev-30 expression pedal, but its just not producing the the wah effect, range, and tone, the Fulltone wah gives. You think its better to use my wah in the beginning of the chain, and use the expression for volume swells, and maybe lead dives, etc, bypassing the wah expression scenario? Thanks for your reply. I hate to do it but I am too considering dropping my pedals, Perhaps I can sell them as boat anchors to boaters here in Miami. lol

Yeah man, I dropped my pedals. You can use the wha first in the chain and use the GT volume pedal for swells. Cheers

I started this project, trying to simplify, and for some reason added my trower stuff to the gt1000 core. No ned to. Ill look around for a good trower patch and go that route. Use the expression for wah, volume, swells, dives, using dividers. Know of a trower patch for core? I have for gt100 but not core. Peace and thanks for the reply

There's not really a 5150. You can use different amps to get that result. I'm working on new amps for the GT and one of the firsts will be the 5150, so stay tuned :) Cheers

Wow man, your approach to covering this is perfect, IMO...just the amp w a little reverb going from one to the next...you don't get too tweaky...most guitarists can hear a tone and instinctively know which way they'd go eq wise to make it to their taste...the reason why i'm watching this is because BOSS is coming out with a SY1000, which has GT1000 amp models in it, as well as guitar models, and usually when they demo that, they go heavy on the synth part of it, or go back and forth, i.e.synth, a little guitar, you know, not sticking with a specific category of the thing...as opposed to using it like a guitar synth, I'd be using it like a James Tyler Variax/ Helix combo, with a guitar I want to play...I like the JTV's, but it's not like playing a PRS or a Gibson Les Paul Axcess...with a little Graph Tech Ghost mod, like dropping in a piezo equipped Floyd as an example, you can get guitar modeling and amp modeling, switch to different models and alternate tunings on the fly, AND play the guitar of your choice...easier way to go versus trying to do a Variax transplant into a USA strat or Les Paul...anyway, once again, thanks for doing this video!

Sounds good - better than your other video high gain - did you record this one differently? Also - do you use global eq on gt-1000 or disable?

Thanks!!! I recorded with the outputs from the GT-1000 into my Apollo Twin. You get a superb tone. I use a bit of roll off around 6K on the global eq. Cheers
