I just bought one! They're 199 now because the mk3 is coming out. I have only had it a couple days. All the knobs are scary. You just have to play with it and find the tones you like. I haven't even hooked it to my computer yet. I guess you can download patches that other players have created. I'll play with it more on my day off. Today before work, I just plugged into my fender mustang because I already know my tones on there. It's just a number and go. I'll get the Katana set up like that soon. The acoustic setting is nice. I don't have an acoustic guitar but I like to learn acoustic type songs. It gives your electric guitar a nice clean acoustic like sound. Just don't mess with gain, boost, effects or reverb.

@@sonnyrocker @David Rabinow Let me explain 2u who I am. I am worlds best guitarist producer musician. I dont play guitar yet. But bought1 recently. Lucifer stood up Geoff Lawton &Paul Gautschi 2try &conceal whitewash me. Geoff &Paul are great. They are indeed world leaders but u have 2chew thgrass spit out the hay. Its that 1% of poison they dont realize Satan gave them that will get u. I work with thgroup who designed eden. We were put here 2make a change. We were rejected. We are Yahwehs elite represented by thbranch Noah brang in2 the ark. I built my 1st food forest on a mt. Above Los Angeles. I live on a cabin Lake Wister with 50 fruit trees. We are stationed USA bcuz most of Yahs people are here. We also are in charge of returning th ark of thcovenant. I know where its buried. Right now I control thsolar system. Yahweh calls it "my department." I do it with a seperate computer program. Dimensions are computer programs. So basically I built a 3.5 tons quartz &precious stones motherboard being the fire mentioned in Revelation. It also makes plants gro like crazy. Do NOT build any 4 device recipe but Yahwehs. We are thwhite horse rider given a bow &no arrows. (Unconventional weapon) Its a capacitor basically, Yahwehs life force commonly known as orgone. I built it right here in my yard spanning 50 miles radially. In this way angels are returnimg from Pleiades system. Thsolar system was heaven once, my motherboard is a portal 2heaven &works out past thconstellations burning Satans dimension. (Outer space is thbiblical abyss) All thworlds problems can be solved in thgarden. The universe revolves around fertile soil. All cities were founded on fertile soil. Jesus stated he who lands on fertile soil will inherit eternity. Soil is everything. I have single handidly transformed thlocal fauna with electric bicycle& 15 gallons seed from wild edible plants Los Angeles basin. That strain of DNA edible plants extra special as indians there recieve 2springs per year &developed plants at a faster rate. Wister is parallell with LA on latitude &so also has 2springs. But we get 55" rain. I would have chose this spot 2incorporate your project. Such as the barren pine mountain range in Muse. Lucifer destroyed USA mostly using farmers &especially lawnmowers. USA had no fences when Yahwehs people (Israelites) lived here ( = Indians. Violent Indians were Atlantians, Satans kids) Yet these peaceful gardners had buffalo at arms reach &an eden of full sun edible plant patches on fertile soil due 2BEAVERS. U must have full sun beavers bought that AND water& fertilized soil. (In summer beaver ponds dry up and deer &bear swarm the profuse shoreline fruits &rich greens) Satan uses LAWNMOWERS lower water table &destroy roadside edibles. Most all edible plants grow on ROADSIDES. So Satans boys keep roadsides annihilated. Earth was named Shan when angels lived here &our solar system was heaven. It had fruit trees &gardens back then. When gardners stand on thshoulders of Lucifer or his trojan horses they are doomed 2failure. There are some basic inherent problems I am seeing with your approach. Meanwhile 95% people on earth now are not humans. They dont know that. Yah calls them plasticines. Biblical tare race. These money trail non profit organization are always businessmen. Plasticines are computer animations basically. (Satan puts demons in flesh bodies using Hadron Collider.) These poisonous people are engineered as messiah pharisees but so as 2always foil gardening, in the end. Satan allows money 4food only. 98% You Tube videos are Plasticines. People deluge these false christs with praise &cash. 90% of thcash they allowed 2pocket. Genuine or false heroes aside Yahweh warns lead my people back to ME.

I am just seeking a particular sound (or close enough to it) for a song I am currently learning. I have this amp. It's an 80s aussie band, so you'd have to search KZbin for it 😉 but if you are willing to give a young lass a quick function setup (just a photo of the dials), I would be so ever grateful. The song means a lot to me. If you say yes, I'll advise the song/artist, but wont't waste your time right now. 😊 If you are unable, I respect that greatly. Take care. 🤟🎸 Thankyou for your time. I did a demo on footswitch setup. Just search sonnyrocker katana boss and you will find it. As for different channel... no, everyone sets it up differently. Is the "acoustic" setting an acoustic simulator? Or do you really need to use an "actual" acoustic guitar (steel/nylon)? Thanks
@sonnyrocker Жыл бұрын
It's for acoustic guitar.

Do you have any issues with your clean channel having alot of gain? Sometimes my clean channel sounds like the crunch...
@sonnyrocker4 жыл бұрын
It might be the way you set the knobs. Mine is clean.
@Mario_Ramirez4 жыл бұрын
In my limited experience (just got the amp today) it seems that the clean channel is just not good.

Sonny thanks a lot! But my amp fx effect is always on even I turn the knob to off. The light is always on and factory reset does not help. Do you know any solution for that problem?
@sonnyrocker2 жыл бұрын
That's strange. It shouldn't do that. While the light is on when you turn it off, is there any of the effects coming through? If not, then I would just ignore it and not worry about it.

That hiss you can get rid of it by using the on board sound gate ?
@sonnyrocker9 ай бұрын
There is a noise gate you can access in BTS.

Heya sonny, thanks a lot for the video. I have been banging the same amp for like 6 years (some Roland cube) and this definitely helped me out on deciding on what would the next upgrade be. Both the sound and presentation of the amp are gorgeous, I wonder how well will it sound with my new PRS SE Standard 24
@sonnyrocker4 жыл бұрын
My main guitar is PRS S2. It sounds great with it.

Just got my 50mkii and I have a PRS Custom 24, but so far I haven't been able to unplug my Les Paul long enough to plug in the PRS because it sounds so good..

@@wesbresee do you need a PC?? I don’t even own a PC anymore and I want something I can jam on low volume with a good tone like my Roland Micro Cube. I just wish I had knobs for mids but it’s still amazing for a bedroom banger

Why won't boss explain how the amps work? I am sick of trying to figure it out. I will probably just take it back. You have done a good job but I still don't know how to turn off (completly) the effects.
@sonnyrocker7 ай бұрын
It's all in the PDF manual that you can download from the BOSS website.
