Great review. If I didn’t already have one I’d buy one. Thanks for showing it can be used straight into an amp. It will also accept katana 2 patches……. Fantastic piece of kit.

Any suggestions which headphone will work best with the Katana-go in terms of sound quality?

Any decent headphones will work, something more balanced would work best, try to avoid anything with heavy bass response, something with a more neutral EQ

Are you using headphones or just phone speakers when watching? Headphones usually are best for a more accurate representation of the sound. I just played just some of the built in patches, and everything is tweakable to taste.

@@boechlerguitarsandrepair I'm using some Sennheiser headphones. I usually don't mind the Katana but this sounded problematic to my ears. Maybe I could make it sound OK to me. Maybe it's a recording issue. Who knows.

I have a pair of $139 Audio Technica’s and it sounds awesome. Plus I use them on my DAW. For sampling. Maybe your unit is flawed somehow. The audio engineer at the studio I make masters at has offered to buy them from me at the inflated rate but I won’t part with them.
