Vintage seems a bit more pushed, might be differences in manufacturing in small components. I bet you can get the same sound out of the new one. Turn the distortion up a little further and eq on your amp with a bit more bass and a little less high

Life span of electronic components in the 1980's was 10-15 years. Vintage does not mean they sound better.

O moderno distorce mantendo a fidelidade, quanto a equalização original do captador. O barato do vintage está na mudança que é facilmente reconhecido.

The right bridge post (high E side) looks like it has a flat head slot like an import model LP but the left side post is hard to distinguish. It looks authentic but that bridge post is throwing me off.

Arctic white ages this colour, cream/ yellowing over time
@k7j007Күн бұрын
Most Gibson guitars are finished with a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer clear coat. The nitrocellulose yellows as it ages. The speed at which it yellows is dependent on things like UV exposure (sunlight), and how the guitar is stored, etc. but all Gibson guitars yellow over time. The white ones are especially noticeable.

All electronic parts have a plus/minus rating. Building a circuit without checking values will produce some randomness into the circuit.

I just bought one. Sounds amazing with acoustic too. I've got a Boss Strret 2 cordless(8AA) amp for busking. The SparkGo is perfect addition on the street. You can customize and save patches titled the song name and easily change the sound for each one without having to make any adjustments, so no buzz kill downtime between songs.
