Thanks for this. I've had this pedal more than 10 years and never explored it so much. just stuck to a few features. Never knew it had a looper. LOL. Never knew about the extension pedals either.

Thank you for the video! I always loved Boss pedals, as a guitar player. But with bass, I was never sure will the pedal work good enough or will it cut the bass' potential. So I got myself this baby and now all I need is the footswitch for gigs, although I probably won't really use the memory mode, all I need is a compressor, some drive, a pinch of chorus, wah/volume and the tuner, ofc.

Thanks for the video, this helped a lot. However I bought the Boss FS-6 and it works for banking up, but not down. Any idea why this might be?

Try the adjusting the A+B switch, depending on how this is set it will control the pedal in a different manner

Just go into the synth settings and experiment with some of the sounds. These can be mixed with other effects within the pedal

I'm lad I stickd around 'till the nd haf of the video :P *good explanations overall, and great demo !!* the beginning was a bit boring and frustrating, because it didn't really help me understand what the buttons were supposed to do, without a proper demonstration, but then I guess it would need to be at least an hour long video ^^'

If Factory settings are what you need to do then first turn off the power, simultaneously holding the bank down arrow and the Write button. F appears in the display. Press the Write button and memory indicator flashes. Press Write once more and F appears in display , factory reset done.

The pedal itself acts as a preamp, you can push/drive the volume and sound parameters but it’s not as a stand alone pre amp would function
