I bought one of these when they first came out then immediately bought a THR10ii and left this in the box. I just ordered the BT adapter and I am gonna go all in on this as my bedroom setup. You are getting some really good tones from this.

Is everything free from the boss tone studio, and if you buy a box set of patches from someone, do you import it to the boss tone studio, and then to the me-90

Sucks that the me 90 didn't include the br feature. On the other hand, I'm more intrigued with using the dual bt midi feature as a wireless midi remote. Any ideas on how this works with Bluetooth midi controllers? Kind regards

Thanks for the review. There's been some discussion about the CTL function in Memory mode, in both the Boss Tone Studio settings and the CTL button on the Physical pedal itself. The discussion has to do with the CTL pedal being used to turn ON/OFF effects. Perhaps you can do a quick follow-up, or even explain on this thread how a ME-90 user can work these settings. Can the app do EVERYTHING the PC program does? For example, can u go into the SYSTEM section to choose the correct output profile for the "guitar amp/Line" toggle switch on the back?

Great video mate, quick question if you have time, if I connect a BT module to the ME-90 and once I pair my iPad to the ME-90 and play a backing track, will I be able hear the track playing from the iPad through the headset jack on the ME-90. At the moment I have a ME-25 that I use to practice and learn songs through my charts/backing tracks using OnSong and an audio cable running from the headset output jack of the iPad to the Aux In jack on the ME-25 and I can hear the track and my guitar at the same time through the headset jack on the ME-25, unfortunately the ME-90 does not have this ability via cable. So I am hoping the BT connection will allow the feature, don't really want to buy the module unless it does what I would like it to do.

G’day mate. You’re in luck! Wirelessly connecting your device to the ME90 means you can stream audio which will be available at the stereo outputs as well as headphones. Keep rocking!

In a business sense boss was smart squeezing every bit of money out of players by not including a power supply and the Bluetooth module another 60 bucks. It sucks for the buyer having to spend another 100 for the extras

Not really cause in the end it pisses off the consumer. Over time you lose out on customers who are fed up on these penny pinching tactics

@@thelatestgreatest8082 the original unit never shipped with the power adapter either. It shipped to the full set of batteries. The whole point was it was meant to be completely portable so in a business case, they looked at it as the user would use batteries first and then maybe AC powers as a back up. in any case any 9 V adapter will work on this unit same as with the old one. As guitarists we have like 100 of those already we don’t need one more.

I still haven't worked out how to delete a complete live set from the phone app, you can delete the patches within the live set but then left with an empty livesets and they soon build up, any ideas ?

May be a not so intelligent question here. How do you delete the factory presets to free up space? Can you do that at all? Thanks to anyone who knows. Be so cool if they did an update and added drums to the looper. Thanks for this video.

I'm having trouble connecting the Boss Bluetooth Audio Midi Dual Adaptor to Android. I can connect but it shows an asterisk in front of the ME90B. Then it gives an error message in the communication.

When installing the Boss Bt Dual on my ME 90, only the midi drive was recognized. My phone is an IPhone 14 and the application worked perfectly but I can't stream audio through the device. Any tips on how to solve this problem?

Even with the added price of the Bluetooth module and the power supply, this unit is still anywhere from $100-$200 cheaper than any other comparable model on the market. For example the Pod Go wireless is well over $100 dollars more and IMHO the effects (particularly the modulation and delays) aren’t comparable to this unit’s. The Nux Trident is also well over $100 more and there’s nothing in that unit that even comes remotely close to the sound and effects quality of the ME-90.

I'm absolutely in favour of bluetooth as I really cannot stand having loads of messy cables plugged in and I understand the uses of MIDI software but good god, for the simple purpose of connecting a device to play backing tracks through, Boss really should have either included an aux input on these newer units just like they did on the older ones or just made them bluetooth ready without needing an adaptor. As it is, this is just a way for the money grabbing gits to milk more cash out of their loyal customers.
