I love your tutorials @MelodicHeals! I think it would be cool if you record a video showing how to record looping, guitar effects and drums (and also how to loop drums with guitar - like Tash does). Another stuff that would be fun to learn is how Tash Sultana can record multiple loops, then delete them and record new stuff on top of that. Does she use multiple loop pedals? Because, for example, she does the base (riff) of the song then record it and loop, then she record and loop the guitar lead, then she bring up the drums and also record and loop them. Then, before she start singing she stop one of the loops, let's say that she wants to stop the lead and then let only the riff and the drums playing. How does she do that? It would be nice to have a tutorial explaining more about he way she does that kind of looping and also records them.

My RC 3 does that when I accidentally change the underlying settings of the pedal. There's a chance you may need to run a function on your pedal to reset it to default settings (normally it's a sequence of buttons on the pedal you need to press in a specific order, when I figure it out I'll type it here but...) If your settings are correct then there may be a short in the pedal that it's not making contact between the foot switch and the second channel.. if that's the case you gotta send it in for a service or get a replacement. But honestly it sounds like you stepped on different pedals accidentally triggering a different set of settings.... I've done it before and it can be a pain in the ass to revert to default but lmk if you figure it out

A profusion of thanks! :) This may be a silly question and what I am after may not even be an actual function but here goes nothing: Is there a way to discard a single layer within the same track (say the very last one that one records on top of one or more other layers) in case it is unwanted (out of rhythm or tune etc.)? As I'm still learning it happens quite often that I screw up a tune I'm trying to record over an otherwise decent loop and currently all I can do is delete the entire track and start from scratch. Please give me some pointers as to how to do it, if possible. Thanks in advance

Record all tracks separate from the one you want to isolate and then stop the channel that has all the tracks when you need to and bring it back in the same fashion.

Babsly Heathbar nope they do not have to be the same length. Once you create a full loop you can record shorter sections within it.

Love that you are using this pedal for something far more creative. My answers sadly is I don’t really know. When I work on episodes I tend to record everything into the computer and layer the tracks while editing. I have never tried to accomplish what you are aiming for but if anyone comes across this and know hopefully they will share their thoughts. Good luck with the project, Cheers 👍🏼

Hey @RuudHeijblom, you can change tracks by holding down the right pedal (hold it for like 5 seconds). Unfortunately, the track doesn't change instantly. There is another to achieve an instant change though. You can connect an extra pedal (basically just a switch) to your looper. With this pedal you can toggle between tracks instantly.
