Great tutorial . Have you done a tutorial showing how you link your RC 30 to the TC Harmony Singer. I have these two pedals but dont understand the set up. If you could it would be most appreciated. Cheers Bryan Reply

Would I be able to loop a 1x15 bass amp and a 2x10 guitar amp in stereo with just one RC30? Or would I need two?

Hi there, new to guitar and have watched several of your videos, notion by Tash, being my current challenge. Your face when you play that song is why i wanted to learn and why I love Tash and music so much! Passion, pure fire in the belly passion! ! 'm hoping you could and would be up for doing indifference by pearl jam and can't go on without you by kaleo. Hope to be watching more of you and them soon! Cheers from Oz
I'd say Hotel California... now I'll carry on with the video... 😊

You do know that you can reconfigure your RC-30 so that when you tap to finish recording a track, it will go to play instead of record. This is in my opinion a necessity if you are a solo act. In it's default configuration, when you finish recording a track and tap to stop recording, you're still in the record mode. You have to tap a second time if you want to jam on top of what you recorded.That's a pain in the butt.
@MelodicHeals4 жыл бұрын
True if that was the case for everyone but some people like myself like to create 2 or even 3 tracks before going on a jam which makes a second track being recorded very useful. Its by preference and each way is necessary depending on what you are trying to accomplish but thanks for the comment

Hi. :) Okay, so I hooked up my guitar and a mic.. I want to get my guitar through guitar amp and mic through PA. The way I hooked it up, guitar and vocals are both coming out of the PA AND amp. I want to separate them...., is that possible? Does that make sense? Thanks for your help. I’m a noob.

Same question here, I set it all up as per the video and the drums come out of the drum amp and the guitar amp at the same time. What is the key to making drums got to the drum amp on L channel, and the guitar going to the guitar amp on R? As it stands, both instruments come out of both amps, and the drums sound odd through the guitar amp :)

Well. I’m here a year later and still having the same issue. 😂 I guess we never figured it out yet… I’m still trying, tho. Did y’all figure it out?

I’ll put this song on my learn to play list for when I get my set up!!!! Hoping to get an Rc-30 in a month or so! It’s awesome! Can you remove just one track after recording or do you have to restart the whole thing again if you mess up on say track 4

You can undo the last track by holding the right foot switch until the lights flash

thanks for the video. does running the keyboard into a guitar amp limit it too much or fry the amp? from what I read guitar amps aren't great for bass and percussion. I want to be able to loop my electric guitar and keyboard but confused about what to connect my rc30 into to actually play the sound with decent quality
@MelodicHeals4 жыл бұрын
Guitar amps bring out a very bright quality on keyboard which is why the bass/keyboard is recommended.. when you use a guitar amp to run both the keyboard and the guitar you have to sacrifice too much on the guitar side to get the keyboard to sound good, it’s not impossible but it will depend on your gear. Hope that helps 👍🏼

Nice video man, one question. How would I connect the RC 30 to a Groove Box such as Novation Circuit? Would it be possible to sync them and could I control the start and stop simultaneously?

my amp only has one input. does this mean I have to buy another amp if I want to loop two instruments at the same time? is there any way I can connect both instruments to my amp that only has one input? a special lead?
@MelodicHeals3 жыл бұрын
Sadly no mate each input/output runs independent from one another which is why the extra output is needed in form of a second amp or 2 input amp.. you can try having all the cables connected and swap the instrument output only when you want to switch instruments, I do that sometimes when I want to add a 3rd instrument so in theory it should work for 2 as well. Good luck 🍀

Would this work the same if I wanted a PA system for vocals?
@MelodicHeals3 жыл бұрын
I think any system with a 1/4 connector would work just like a guitar or a drum pad

This made me realize little dreamer by Van Halen and hotel California use the same/similar chord progressions
@MelodicHeals4 жыл бұрын
Yep keep yours ears open and you’ll find that most “popular songs” follow the same 2/5 chord progression just in different tones - a silly suggestion would be - listen to frozen from Disney then listen to all of me from John Legend and if I can find out the name of that Taylor swift song I’ll send it to you too, it’s the SAME SONG lol also Maroons 5 “Memories” is fully based on Cannon in D - not sure if that was a tribute or just sad 😞
