This is something I'd promised my community that I'd do. I created this soundtrack to be played in the background for a storyteller who is telling a truly scary story. There was no AI involved in this, other than the background art of the video, but hey... this video is about the sounds. The visuals were just a fun addition. The main components of this are harmonics in the frequencies of 17.1, 17.4, and 18.89 Hz. Scientifically, this is the scariest combination of notes and the louder you play it, the more effective it is. I don't recommend blasting it from your computer speakers, though. Sound drivers can have a hard time with it and you may accidentally crash your audio if your machine is low end or your sound chip/card isn't good enough. Most speakers will play this, but you need something that will play subsonic audio, like a great pair of headphones or if your car has subwoofers.
I could have just combined the audio tracks without any other sounds, but that would be irresponsible of me because I just want to be able to add an unsettling overtone, not promote delinquency as some pranksters might use it to terrorize someone or potentially multiple persons who are easily frightened. So, don't do that. The added sounds I placed are vaguely unsettling to me (are there footsteps in the leaves? Is there whispering in the wind? Is that a ghost?) and I cut the audio on sharp note wavelengths to create the illusion of rising suspense.
I hope some other audio nerds out there enjoy this. Also, I know I technically left partial instructions on how to terrorize people. I left out a couple of important pieces, though. It's kind of like the early MacGyver show where he was constantly building explosives and showing the audience how, but there was always something missing from the recipes. I figured if they could do it, I can too.
