Honestly, this video is a god send along with this new pedal. I’ve spent 2-1/2 years trying to achieve w/d/w. Every other video doesn’t explain anything in a Simple downed fashion. Our biggest hiccup was achieving this type of sound with one amp. But this pedal and video is a game changer. Thank you sir!

It added the analog dry through and the convenience of ground lift adapters to play through multiple amps... (Edit: Manual states "Direct" so pretty misleading if it's passing through DSP. If I may voice my thoughts, rockinchippy. Great vid first of all. Second it's nice to see Roland finally remake or sorta remake their SDE Digital Delays. Powerful with it being wired for 3 amp signals. good competiton for the other overpriced pedals. Personally, I was using a Yamaha Magicstomp pretty much the same way but it has more delays. Ironically, I am rebuilding my live rig to be premo. I am not crazy about having EVERYTHING on the stage in the form of pedals. I use 4 x SDE 1000's and 1 SDE 2500 rack units parallel, through a mixer then out to power amp. rockinchippy, I did an A/B of the Yamaha delays against my Rolands, and like analog synthesizers or tube amps, it didnt compare sonically. The rack units sounded fuller, warmer, brighter. So I stopped using the Yamaha. In a live setting the rack delays sound so much better....to my ears. So it begs the question, of if this new pedal has the same richness of the rack units....Honestly the crowd won't care, much less the player so it's subjective. In the same breadth, I think its great this exposes kids to how it was done...and still is for some players. Using W/D, W/D/W, or stereo. I have sampler vids on my channel if you get bored one day, LOL. Great video for young players, regardless man!!

I can’t imagine why we would need to use the Dry out especially if it’s really dry. So I’m skipping it. So this Fryette stereo power amp is just that, two output sections that take the same preamp from the 5150? And since the 5150 goes through the attenuator, you by default control the "master" volumes of the two stereo power amps? If that's the case, is there a specific setting on the Boss unit for that? It would seem that the "three" outputs are in fact coming from the same preamp, so...just when I think I have wde figured out, Inwarch a video like this😂 And, could I just use two separate guitar power sections from my other amps instead, or could that lead to potential phase issues? Or, would that not work because I'd need a Y splitter of some sort to go from the dry amp, and then each into the preamp in on the other amps? Thanks!

I’m not familiar with the Komets but there’s no wrong way to do this as long as you can power everything

One Komet Ambikab Jr with your normal amp gives you W/D/W

@@GeauxSaints121 Well.. sort of. Its only on one side, i think of it as more Wet/Dry. I have 2 Ambikab Jrs and Run a "Y" speaker cable out of my Bogner and split the effects L&R to get a more true WDW. I get a huge stereo spread that way

nice, but who has the opportunity to play wet dry wet? The device can do a lot, but you can play with more than 80% of it at home for fun, but you will only use a little of it in a band, not everyone is EVH! again a nice toy for fun but very expensive just for fun!
