i use it to communicate from my ipad to my pedals, so my tracks tell my pedals what patches to be on, what bpm to be in, and in real time send commands to turn fx on and off. In a nutshell though, its a wireless midi/bluetooth connection.

sounded as if it was getting away from you a little? via uncontrolled use of certain paramiterer effects over volumed with a jumbled muddy mess the inevitable out come. [ EQ delays and reverbs are a pain to get right ] so a over loud delay fighting the synth effec just doesn't work as everything neads to be used but sparingly and separately guitar on then off synth on then off via the gk3 .... maybe try various pad sounds in a loop of a few minutes to set the stage or a live jazz type drum loop while you jam out a pad layer as a foundation for the guitar... thats what I do? and eq and pan if you can with in different loop layers or midi via cable from a key board into the sy 1000 and use the synth that way...if possible ? I've been tempted to get this device just put off by that feeling that it's [looking] another tuck up by boss/roland in other words a device the you need a University degree to fathom it's potential. cheaper to put an add in some magazine or newspaper..local keyboard player needed/wanted urgently . yeah! much easier than arsing about trying to be guitarist and keyboardist' want to be. I know yeah I know I'll probably fork out the cash and end up getting one I can feel the Gear Acquisition Syndrome coming on like a fever will go hide my savings somewhere just to be safe PS watched a bit more of the show yeah very muddy indeed...didn't get any better hate the sound of your guitar.. way to bright where would it sit in a tune being so muddy how do you put up with it is beyond me with no mid or low end it sounds weak and flaky and way to loud as your bumping the mixer buffer and breaking and distorting the headroom limit of your sound card think its 0db -18db max for a reasonable good sound you must be hitting 40 50db or more its a wonder you haven't popped the speaker cone or an ear drum with a headphones on youzz a hazard aria indeed. don't be upset I'm just a bit board and just fucking with your head [ insomnia and a insom-maniac ] though I'm telling the truth as I hear it
