I really liked the smell of the Scent Absolute. Probably the best of the Scent line excluding Parfum which i havent tried yet. I just had a lot of doubts on the performance as a common problem for all Hugo Boss frags.

This i look at as their more expensive line, i picked up Bottled Night which is not bad and Hugo Boss bottled dont ask which one but the last Boss I got was Unlimited it lasts 1 hour so i sold that on. But the Scent line seems to be the one they are Invested in the rest are just cheap but some do go ok.

I love how you described your collection. It's a visual representation of your memories. This is why I will always own a bottle of this. I finally bought my own house. So, as we were moving in, I wore it as my SOTD. With each hour, I got something different from it. So warm, facets of sweetness, hints of freshness, even as I was sweating the kind of chocolatey vibe mixing with my salty sweat gave off a "Sea Salt & Chocolate" vibe. I love the “scent” but it doesn’t seem to project at all. Seems like more of a skin scent. Like you have to go right up to it to pick it up. It’s really subtle. Anyone else get this at all?

I think it does. In the original The Scent it comes across smelling like spicy, somewhat leathery oranges to my nose (not bright raw oranges, but like oranges that have been cooked in spices).

That's why the name is "The Scent" it's supposed to be non intrusive. Just a scent. Something light and somewhat mellow. Harshness like Gucci Guilty shouldn't be expected in something called "a scent" His judgement is void of juxtaposition with the name of the product.
