BOSS VE-2 vocal harmonist demo -- test with piano

This vocal harmonizer is designed to have a guitar plugged through it so it shifts the vocal harmonies to match the chord. I tried it out with piano and it works well too.

Thank You I am planning to buy one but I have TC Helicon D1 H1 pair /I try to swap it/, and I try to figure out which is better ...the main problems are 1 not available the changing of the harmonies during playing /after a while the used same pattern unnatural and boring can be/ 2 sometimes disturbing electronical voice /unnatural/ in the upper harmony section

Thank you, was thinking of getting one for my keyboard. However the sounds seem fake somehow, slightly distorted and computerized.

The "enhance" button does add some pitch correction which might sound unnatural (since humans are naturally not perfect). It can be turned off, but I think it smooths things out. There are sometimes slight warbles -- but they are probably due to vocal or instrumental input that is not clear or strong enough signal. There shouldn't be any clipping-type distortion; we do have to limit the instrumental signal going in to keep it from overloading. Thanks for watching. I still haven't used it enough to give a decisive recommendation one way or the other, and I haven't used other similar products to compare it to.

This guy has a dreadfully boring voice and is using the green button... shut that off and use different harmony types ... This thing is great in the correct hands , trust me. This demo really got on my carrot, on how to abuse this little gem of a machine.

Hi! Which way did you connect this device to your keyboard?

I plugged the keyboard into the guitar input. There is one 1/4" input jack for instruments.

@@jeffreewhite Thank you for your answer. I did not know that it's possible .Keyboard's audio signal is much stronger than guitar's.

@@Timurmusic Right, not all pedals accommodate both. This has a gain adjustment. It may be important to allow the pedal to read the signal optimally.
