I’m not Korean but in my culture in Hong Kong, if the boss takes you out for food, it’s customary and culture for the boss to treat. Not sure whether the muscle crew actually get to eat out as much outside of the show but usually once a month my boss treats our team to dinner

Part of that and then also when she first appeared the way she talked robotic like and what not people were labeling her as autistic and then attacking her. And the way though she was speaking and all her mannerisms. The show basically had her play this character to protect her because then no one was talking about autism anymore or anything like that they were just talking about how cool she was being like a robot

As a former paramedic I would guess she ripped her tendon in her thumb due to the type of surgery she had on her thumb. They put steel wires inside the thumb to heal the tendon, stabilise the injury and prevent that she loses function and feeling in her thumb. The steel splint is for stabilising the injury further and prevent her from causing more harm to her injury and tendon. This is a super delicate type of operation and many gets nerve damages afterwards even if a very skilled orthopedic surgeon performs the surgery. She will have that csst/splint for at least 5 months and has to go through rigorously rehabilitation. But if anyone can fix that, it's Dongeun. Though I'm pretty sure she won't be able to compete in September, sadly. I just hope she'll be well soon and heal quickly.
