simply world class. i agree. but in this world class, i dont know any, who is better. i know some, who have similar levels to do different things like gilad hekselman (i love him at emmets place), but thats the thing: they play completely different stuff. fuze fiuzsinsky or however you write this guy from hiromis sonicbloom - different and same level of insaneness. but joscho is the most complete, im very sure.

No wonder the likes of the brilliant acoustic guitar behemoths like Tommy Emmanuel, Stochelo Rosenberg and Paulus Schäfer want to play with Joscho! His precision, his feel, his seamless transition between different song styles and his speed are just mind-blowing! For example when he was playing If I had You with Tommy he snuck in a little Hall Of The Mountain King so seamlessly! This performance with Volker and Sven is off-the-scale brilliance! Joscho is a living legend on acoustic and the trio as a whole are unsurpassed!

That "If I Had You" recording is SO GOOD! It made me write out all the chords in my book and strum swing rhythm on my ukulele along with them... And so I keep coming back to it often.

Me gusta que Joscho, presenta los temas con buen gusto y no solo virtuosismo, por lo tanto sus conciertos tienen un equilibrio, no como muchos del mundo del jazz qué se limitan a mostrar solo su conocimiento en términos de escalas lo que acaba siendo monótono

When you think that joscho is already at an insane level he sits down..... grabs the guitar....... and leaves you with a dropped jaw. Presently I dont know of anyone so accurate and clean playing a guitar, with expression, with intention while still maintaining a smile like if it was the easiest thing in the world...... And believe me I've seen and know a lot of guitar players both acoustic and electric. Its crazy the amount of work, im sure, this man dedicates to this instrument to reach this level.

since 25 years hes playing stages like that - well, in jakobshof were maybe 15 people, but thats the only thing that changed: joscho just plays everything he likes in the way he wants to play it. and there is a lot of music inside this man. i think we have a good chance to listen to him another 25 years. he looks the same. nice!
