I think this is a card that definitely will force people to learn interactions for it, keeping your troops away from the line between the doctor and the monster's tesla coil will definitely be a good way to try and counter it

As neat as I think the idea is and how it actually looks like a pretty decently balanced card, I kinda feel like Goblinstein is a little out of place when compared to the rest of the champions. All of the other champions are supposed to be of legendary status (or at least want to be in the Little Prince’s case), and then there’s just a random kooky goblin scientist and his monster. Even his official description doesn’t really hint at Goblinstein being of important stature so I’m kinda confused as to why the King would give him an invite (unless it ends up being another Little Prince situation where he stole the invite). I don’t feel like Goblinstein fits as a champion as he doesn’t really feel “big” or important like the other champions and would have worked way better as a Legendary card in my opinion. I don’t think the card is bad, I think it’s a very cool idea that I’m definitely willing to play around with when it comes out, but I feel like they could have done so much more with a Goblin-themed champion (like the Goblin Chief in Clash of Clans or hell even a playable Goblin Queen) and made Goblinstein an Epic or Legendary instead.

I should also state that I’m below 1000 trophies in that mode, because there might be more real players in arena 2 or above. But from my experience in Arena 1, it’s just a game mode to grind masteries and crowns cuz the AI matches are basically free wins

You can put this car at the place of musk, because of the batter stats and replace the ice golem whit somting else. And for 5 elixir You have a card like musk and an ice golem,from defence You can go on offence. Because If You use musk + champion is ți extensive for 2.6.

I feel it would be more balanced if the further the scientist is from the monster, the less damage the lightning does. So if they're really close together the lightning bolt deals *quite* the damage, but if they're like 8+ times away from each other it barely does zap damage

Whats with supercell releasing champions that are 2 part? Like little prince and his guardian and now the goblin and the doctor... And all champions are offense oriented. Wish they released a healing champion.

This is only the second 2 part champion, it’s not quite a pattern yet. All champs aren’t offense oriented either. AQ and MM have a lot of defensive power, GK and SK are counterpushy mini tanks and LP is a hybrid ranged/melee card for defense and offense. The only healing in the game comes from 1 normal troop and the rest is from evos and a spirit made from a failed spell.

It's their way of making more unique cards. For example the same concept is visible w/ the demolisher as it is just a bomber + wall breaker, and evo drill + evo goblin giant each have their different stages. Even sussy bush is arguably a 2 part card. And the gob machine is a knight + mortar. Also a healing champion. BRO EVERY SINGLE HEALING CARD EVER ADDED TO THIS GAME HAS ONLY WORKED IN TOXIC DECKS. You'd be wishing for that until the meta actually unfolds then regret will hit.

To be honest, the Goblinstein without its ability is just kinda mediocre for its cost; the scientist does ice wizard level damage and the monster is just a bulkier ice golem. This means that in order to get value out of it, you need to commit at least 7 elixir, which is especially costly in single elixir. Making it 4 elixir but nerfing its ability (I'm thinking enough damage to kill a skelly drag or maybe less) will make it pretty balanced.

@@badateverything2931 it seems to have the big advantage over AQ by being able to be split lane and support the pigs while tanking for them on other side and melting anything that gets between the two, however I am still choosing AQ for now because of her cloaking cape being cheaper and still having the ability to ruin air units and have unfathomably high DPS. For a single extra elixer and get to basically have the dps of a pekka while the DR can't even kill a spear goblin? I'll stick with what i know. For now. But doesn't seem THAT bad for hogs... Just not better than queen

The electric dragon is the only actual op thing that has been released in months. Well also goblin machine but that was nerfed like 2 days after it was released

@@Bezpolezniq ​ yes.. If you look at Boss king tower it is 15 and opponent king tower is 11. it appears that Boss didn't upgrade its princess tower to match king and none of the cards. The opponent is bot so it has some lv12 cards to balance it somehow with the lv15 king tower.
