We have a small second-hand shop here in the little country town where I live and I kid the owners that it's actually the Room of Requirements from the Harry Potter movies because I find almost EVERYTHING I want there!

That LOTR ring is engraved with a real language. JRR Tolkien created the language of Quenya (the formal, ritualistic liturgical language of the Elves) from scratch, with dictionaries, grammars, the works. There are human people who SPEAK both Quenya and Sindarin. Sindarin is the common elvish language. The beautiful flowing, engraved script is called Tengwar.

I have no idea why so many peope are so delighted by cast iron pots and pans? I was given a whole set as a wedding present and once they were full of food thay were too heavy to lift/ They went into a local charity shop because they had been expensive to begin with- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It's the brand. I'm not sure those were LeCreuset but IF they were...just wow! True, they aren't for everyone though.
