The declining intelligence of humanity is very depressing. It wouldn't be so bad if those in charge weren't so evil. We need a certain level of general competence to resist tryanny, they know this, which is why schools are overrepresented in these videos. They are terrible by design.

The two arrow part with the gas tank is simple. The top one is a indication on how many miles or kilometers you can drive until you need to refuel. The one at the gauge is the one that points out the location the filler cap really is. In some cars the arrow on top has a outline of a car added.

The comment about some older people being confused about the rubbish bin is just offensive and probably wrong anyway. I've seen quite a few posts about office newbies (i.e. young people) mistakenly posting mail in bins.
