He in fact, cannot get banned for that. A bug is only punishable if you do it in a gamemode like chime. Even then the bug has to be severe enough to give you a pretty big advantage or it still won't be punished. Also, a bug will only get you temporarily banned. Bugs (to my awareness) will never permanently ban you if you exploit them.
