I've been having trouble creating a good hot throw. The only time I achieved it was when I used a LOT of fragrance oil. However, after letting the candle continuously burn the glass broke in half. Not sure if it was because of the fragrance overload or the glass. I use soy wax that I got from amazon. Do you measure how much fragrance to wax when you make the candles and is it the same every time or do you do it based on the jar you're using?

Just found you. I have two thoughts, 1) very good with the video but a better microphone would help 2) A container that's narrower and tall (like you'd see in science class) would make for much more accurate measuring. Other than that, you just got a 62 year old white guy to follow you. Looking forward to making candles with my adult kids when they come to visit. I'll also be ordering through your links to give you a bump. Always like to see the next generation of entrepreneurs.

hiii :) question! have you worked with the coco soy titan without parrafin? i use that one! but my questions is, most of my fragrance oils say the burning point is >200F. so i try to do it around 188, do your fragrance oils that u use say the same thing & still perform well when pouring it at 200F?? i dont want it to burn off the scent but still fairly new at this

First thank you for your videos. I really appreciate it! I am in the process of finalizing the candles I would like to sell in my candle making business. I want to try to attend the next farmers market in my town. I do have a question, I haven't been able to get a clear answer. Sometimes I notice the fragrance lingers in my pouring containers. I do use alcohol after every use but it is still there depending on how strong the fragrance is. How do you recommend getting that scent out? I haven't had an issue where it interferes with my other scented candles yet but I don't want to have that issue. I did see some ppl said use a new pouring pot for each scent but I have a lot of scents so that may be an issue. Lol I'm just starting out and my pockets aren't set up like that yet lol.

Hello, now I know what I'm about to say is gonna be CRAZY but I've been doing 8oz candle jars an putting 2oz of oil in it, an everything burned great with 12 of my candles but now I'm working with 10oz candle jars an I'm trying to do things right. So I'm thinking a 1.5 oz of oil in the 10oz jar, what do you think? By the way I did have some of my old candle jars catch fire 🔥 but it was a oil got from Walmart an the wax was different but after I changed the oil from Walmart with soy wax to paraffin an candle science oil everything is going great. I'm just trying to figure out if 1.5oz of oil is good for 10oz candle jars.
