What a gem this performance! Perfection from the first to the last note. The orchestra: well balanced, tempi that make a it all flow totally naturally. And, yes, Amanda’s vocal skills, the sheer beauty of her voice … a very special experience. Thankful indeed.

There does seem to be some tension there. But I think she just has very thin, straight shoulders, plus the habit of expressive ducking her head between them like Cecilia Bartolo. The voice isn't constricted, it's lovely and free.
