steve johnson - I knew it was a sign of the times when they signed Gordon who the coach wanted for obvious reasons. And they wouldn't be able to pay IT, Bradley and possibly Crowder with extensions instead. They were number one in the East with a hurt IT. Cavs should keep IT though because when he is rested and healthy Bron don't have to play much knowing he got Crowder as well.

this is my part to cuz I know I've talked way too long. what I was saying as far as things happen for a reason black NBA players are smarter than they've ever been when it comes to their NBA careers and what is best for them they are taking control of their lives the best way they know how and trust me they will get better at it cuz they understand now that regardless to what they are good enough to be in the NBA so they might not be on the team they want to be on they might not get paid all the money they think they're worth but at the end of the day they still will become millionaires doing something they love even though they are making the owners become billionaires fine. to the point now things happen for a reason and I think truly that ice cube once he started that 3 on 3 League, I truly believe that was a blessing to the people and I'm speaking on the black people in the black NBA players at this point no racist statement, because things happen for a reason. say 5 years to 10 years down the road Ice Cube or some other black entrepreneur or non racist white person can start a five on five League for men that they say are not good enough for the NBA instead of going overseas to play trust me people would support it for the simple fact NBA fans love to watch the game they love to see Talent. so things happen for a reason. they won't make as much money but they will be able to look up in the mirror and be proud of their cells at the end of the day. look at Stephon Marbury. he held true to his belief so New York set him on the bench. but knowing he was the best player the best scorer on the team they still said him down because of their disagreements basically do as I say I own you and he said no. what they didn't know is they were blessing him they thought they were hurting him look at him now. that's the reason why I feel things happen for a reason. is call, baby I'm out peace out ticket

1 fan makes a video of burning IT's jersey and everyone (other than Celtics fans) thinks it represents majority of the fan base. Go check it out, you will find that its the same video from a fan posted a shit ton of times. Majority (99.9%) of Celtics fan have nothing but respect for IT. It amazes me how many people jump on the band wagon and don't even give a second look to see if what they are jumping on is true. Its the times I guess.

99.9 % pshhhh don't kid yourself man. Most of you respect IT yes, but 99.9 %??? Just yesterday my friends kept talking about how IT is "short" anyway or that he can't defend. And they have been celtics fans all the way back from the era of rondo, allen, pierce and KG. Twitter has also blown like crazy with celtics fans shitting on IT. They want to believe that they got the better end of the deal and to do that they have to shit on a player who gave his heart and soul to their franchise. That is just messed up.

Hmmmmmm, just did a search on twitter for Isaiah Thomas, IT and even spelled it wrong in my searches as well.....your "blown like crazy with celtics fan shitting on IT" isn't there. It's like a smear campaign against Celtics fans and "facts" that aren't there. I go way back to being a Celtics fan since the Bird days and have seen the players that have been loved and the players that haven't been loved by Celtics fans. IT was one that was loved. Like a good deal of Celtics fans I was torn when I heard that IT was traded because he was the heart of the team. At the same point, we were getting a player that potentially could lead a team to multiple championships. Not to say that Isaiah wouldn't do the same, that is where "Celtics fans" are torn. BTW, your friends may not necessarily be wrong. IT is short by basketball standards and doesn't always matchup well with taller players to well. With that being said and just because it is being said doesn't mean that they have a lack of respect for him, it means they are stating the obvious. I think the smear campaign that is going on for whatever reason is messed up.
