Yep. O'Brien had been hired as the OC for Ohio State Cuckeyes and as soon as the BC head coaching position came open he was in Boston like white on rice. This isn't an upset. They were over ranked before the season started. Imho people need to stop calling it upsets during the first 2-3 weeks of a season. The team hasn't even played yet and the ranking is based off history and prediction nothing of any real basis. As a BC fan, I can't explain how hyped I am for this team. Haven't had a QB that could pass consistently (let alone run the ball) since Matt Ryan from 2003-2007. He took BC to ranked #2 in the country. In 2020-2021, Phil Jurkovec looked good his first season with a new Head Coach Jeff Hafley from Ohio State, but Phil fell off after getting injured. Other than that, have to go back to Doug Flutie in the '80s, a college football goat.

Not an FSU or BC fan, so tell me if I am wrong. Many will fault DJ and he did not play his best game. But it seems to me that both of FSU's lines are not playing well. The OL did not give DJ enough time in the pocket to let plays develop. But the DL is where FSU's biggest problem seems to lie right now. This is without doubt a talented DL, but the last 2 games they are getting blown off the ball in the run game. This might be really bad news for FSU. If I am an opposing team, I am going run heavy until they prove they can stop it. Their coaching staff really has to address this issue asap.

This reminds me of my gameplan when I'm playing the NCAA football game and I'm taking on a way more talented team. Dink and dunk 5 yard outs, option plays, etc for 4 or 5 yards, marching down the field slowly and chewing up clock, and hoping to get a stop or two defensively.
