Such a sick book. It’s unfortunate that with more notes comes more opportunity to perform sections to the judges a little more gray. This is my favorite drumline of the season, hands down. I hope BAC keeps this style of writing for next year and hopefully not too many of these guys and girls age out. If they keep most of the line intact, they’ll be dangerous in ‘23

I aged out of crossman and music city mystique in the late nineties and haven't kept up with anything. I checked everyone out this year though and this is the one. a little dirty but the writing and demand is just SO incredible. The knife visual the tenors do after their solo is perfect. LICK THE BLOOD OFF THE BLADE BOYS!

Absolutely remarkable. SO CLEAN. And the book is just simply 🔥🔥🔥, I sincerely hopes this pushes drumline books for years to come. I also wish so badly this translated better to the field. At Finals, they simply were not nearly this clean (from the perspective of someone in Section 141, Row 15). FWIW, I think all the competitors for drums didn't have their best runs with the exception of BC, who was very clean but played a simple book. BD should have won drums this year, plain and simple.

It's gotta be the angle, every other video I've seen of these guys is absolute nails.

Unfortunately, it's not the angle. The mic was at the very center of the form. Boston (imho) unfortunately peaked too early in the season and that caused some mental ticks by the end.

I was in the lot for this and I can say while there was a little bit of dirt sometimes, this angle is most definitely the culprit

The mic was actually right in the center! The camera is separate from the microphone so the sound isn’t coming from the angle you’re seeing the video from. Hope that helps:)
