@@cl7422 probably a bit of both. No question Colin writes great stuff, but theyve had this issue two years in a row. They seem to stall out and dont quite excel at the same pace as some of the other corps. Having seen them in Lynn, Quincy, Allentown and then Semis, I honestly believe they played better early season. Not sure if its fatigue, or just that they come out too hot. It seems they excelled with the technically challenging material but struggled with the easier stuff. Idk, just my ear. Its also worth nothing that what we see in the lots isnt whats being judged. They did sound a bit different on the field.

Could be partially that. But I think front ensemble demand wasn't as high as other groups. Definitely a good group, but I think some viewers forget that it's the percussion caption, not drumline caption.

@@JBDrums.23 I do agree with you, and think thats why Cavi's scored so high. That and the shows we see in the lot arent whats judged on field.
