I wrote the second quad feature and other than one flam being written as a double stop (which is probably close to what we play anyway) you pretty much nailed it. I’m impressed. Kudos to you man! 🤘🏼

Goddamn this drumline was playing hard beats! This will definitely go down as being one of the best years for drums in DCI!

Nah man bac plays hard asf books every year. And this isnt even close to some bd and crown books 😂
@warrior9952 жыл бұрын
@@Iplayquad I'd say you're right about the book being hard every year. But I think between BD, Crown, and BAC their books are hard in different ways.
@Iplayquad2 жыл бұрын
@@warrior995 ya fs, but I mean rhythmic wise. BAC has a bunch of 3's and 4's but like legit.. thats kinda it 😂 bd plays tons of syncopated tuplets and crown plays odd metre all the time with hard music. Yk what im sayin?
@warrior9952 жыл бұрын
@@Iplayquad I get exactly what you're saying. Gotta respect the chops and consistentcy though. It's physically hard to play cleanly together. But yeah. BD had some weiiiird rhythms
@Iplayquad2 жыл бұрын
@@warrior995 oh I know, what they play is insane, gives me old cadet vibes, no doubt is it hard 😂 I just personally think other books are harder rhythmically on the field

Great transcription. One note about dynamic markings: Wouldn’t it be more expedient to write (FF/ mp) when you have those repeated level changes? It’s a lot to look at as is.
