Love the work ethic of this line. Definitely one of those dog days of drum corps where you're just trying to survive but here they are sounding great despite hellish conditions.

This will go down as one of the greatest drum features in history.

Super dope seeing how that double stop shot gets cleaner and cleaner

What's nice is that statement establishes the hits on counts 1 and 4+ which serves as the feel within the groupings of 7 that Colin played with. The Front Ensemble keeps those going throughout but watching them work it totally changed the way I hear the part now.

4:59 the only time the snares are dirty to the normal “human” ears is were center snare shows emotion for the first time in the whole video 😂
@Scooped_Orange11 ай бұрын
it was barely dirty too 😭

I really like how the audio managed to capture the echo as well. Makes you feel like you're actually present.

How is boston's book ranked 4th in difficulty???
@PlushChronicles2 жыл бұрын
Not just battery book. Pit as well.

Boston's front ensemble is pretty 🔥 too

@@GeorgeCollins Definitely agree! Just pointing out that front ensemble content as well as front ensemble to battery interplay and content plays in to the percussion score. I think their book has some really challenging and super cool parts. Im not a judge so I cant say if it should be scored higher or what not

@@PlushChronicles I got to see them live for the first time on Monday and both sections have really challenging books that have a lot of variety in terms of checking off various boxes and not staying in the same lane the whole show. And they have a great connection front to back. They have everything needed to take it IMO

@@GeorgeCollins Cool! Definitely would be super awesome to see. Mcnutt's first title in almost 10 years.
