Boston EMS Ambulance + New Chevy Tahoe Supervisor on Scene

Boston Emergency Medical Services Ambulance responding to a call with the supervisor already on scene in a new Chevrolet Tahoe. Not including the lightbar on the roof, or the wig-wag headlights, I count 12 forward-flashing red and white emergency lights.In the rear I count 16, not including the LEDs in the back up lights or the lightbar. Back in the day we used to use a simple flasher that would alternate the back up lights and the brake lights. It cost about $3 at any parts store. I really like the Chevy Tahoe for its size. Much larger than the Ford Explorers commonly used today. Filmed in Cinema 4K.

The lights are very pale - those blue lights at the :15 mark are almost pastel baby blue . So is "KEEP BACK 300 feet the equivalent of 100 metres ? nice catch

Ils kiffent les LED aux USA, y'en a pour combien de dollars juste pour les LED ?

Facile 10 000 euros, sachant que certaines rampes LED Américaine coûte environ 8000 euros sans la sirène pour lesquelles il faut rajouter 500/600 euros pour des modèles bon marché. C'est sur que nous les Français avec un coût moyen de 1500/1700 euros par véhicule de police on est loin d'eux (bien que je trouve que la sa fait un peu trop).

Ola vache c'est la moitié du prix mit dans une voiture de flic en France et on arrive encore à voir des antiquités sur la route...

Ce n'est pas le même budget qu'en France, et bon d'un autre coté sa veut dire qu'en France, avec juste une vieille rampe halogène et une sirène tu te fait respecter sur la route (sauf Paris c'est une exception), alors qu'au US ils on besoin de 2 rampes/6 kits feu de pénétration/2 feu de pare-brise/une sirène doublé et un air-horn, pour se faire un minimum respecter. Donc bon, je trouve que de se point de vu la c'est positifs :-D

What is the big antenna or stick that's on the front of the ambulance??

Boston has those on the front bumper of all its ambulances. They are simply guides for the driver to better see the position of the front corner of the truck.
