I first heard the original in 1978, from CFTR ( AM ) and CHUM ( FM ) at different times on my Realistic transistor radio. I loved science-fiction stories - the more outrageous the better! After hearing 'More Than a Feeling' the first time, something in mind ( possibly my "mind's eye" ? ) 'clicked'. I would imagine the full-length version of the song being made to fit the opening and closing soundtrack of a moving story like 'Star Wars, Episode IV, A New Hope'. I shared my vision with others but I wasn't convinced that the song was exactly suited for the type of spectacular sci-fi cinematic story I was imagining someday. After hearing this version today for the first time, my imagination is rekindled. This version here is an excellent template for the song becoming an instrumental soundtrack for ( as yet to be ) the most illustrious movie of all time. Hint: hundreds of thousands of King David's army and other citizens of ancient Israel, assembled to "...sing a new song..." Righteous. Station. SF7
