Boston Strong!!! Phenomenal First Class HD 757 Takeoff From Logan Airport!!!

I had been wanting to film a 757 takeoff from Boston for a long time! Listen to the awesome engine sound of those Rolls Royce RB-211 engines as we climb into the sky! Winds were blowing in off the ocean today so we took off to the East off of Runway 9! During our ascent you can see the many boats of Boston Harbor, an all the quaint New England homes along the beaches! Excellent service today in the cabin complete with French toast for breakfast! Filmed from the First Class cabin on board American Airlines! Flight 1441 to Miami. 9/9/14.

this is a great treat for me because I live about 12 miles north of logan airport and had worked there back in the early 80s. still see lots of planes on approach from my house when the winds are right. thanks for another great one! rob

Such a smooth sound! It's like hearing a loud jake brake on a semi barreling down highway at 75 mph then all of a sudden u hear what sounds like a jackhammer breaking concrete, so so beautiful.

as always, an incredible video, will be flying with United from Glasgow (UK) to Newark on a 757-200 am hoping it is RR RB-211's, just love that sound so much, I feel safer when i see RR on engines. Awesome work as usual my friend :)

Grossly overpowered airplane. Lifted off in 25 seconds. Hit FL100 in 3 minutes 41 seconds. But isn't that what most aviation buffs like? I'd say indeed.
