Congrats, about how much does one cost? How long does it take when u order one to get ur boat. I got to imagine Boston whaler has a lot of orders in. I live in Michigan, I like the 22 dauntless. Can do the Great Lakes and inland lakes.

hard to believe there's no formal anchor rest. The video just showed it thrown in the compartment, so it can bounce around and chip/damage the compartment. Shocker on that one for the price of this boat.

Yea it’s a Whaler, but the 246 Cayman by Robalo is laid out way better for a bay/fishing set up. Better storage, better rod holders, better seating. The only thing this has better is the dual lounge chair but I’d rather have more walk around. Sweet boat.

@@whalerlife53 when you can get 90%+ back right now on what you paid, what’s the real difference now? Check out the FB Rob page and see for yourself. Boat prices have shot up. I can get full sticker on what i paid for it new today if i wanted to sell it. But it isn’t unsinkable. 😂

Might as well go ahead and price out the rear seat cushions because those are going to blow off while under way or driving down the road. Awesome boat, but a sub par seat design. Can’t believe that’s the best you could come up with.

What I don’t get is why did you design such a screwed up starboard seating arrangement. There is nothing innovative about the rear seats. Placing a cushion on the seat and expecting that to stay put with magnets is nuts. What were y’all thinking. At the very least, couldn’t you have designed it like the 220? The live well needs to be placed in the helm seat and bring the previous aft bench seat back. That was an awesome design. Can’t believe y’all ditched that.

Sweet Dreamz, I had a 24 Dauntless Pro and at the price point, you are better off looking at a Yellow 24 or 26, Everglades or even a Dorado with a tower. Here’s why. 1) the boat rides super heavy and is not very fuel efficient. 2) it won’t even come close to the advertised performance speeds. 3) this boat is 95% family and 5% fishing. This limits your use and also your resale market. 4) customization options are limited to what whaler will do in the factory and what your dealer can do. This leaves gaps where the boat is under rigged in the factory or the dealer “can’t get you there from here”. The underrigging can lead to electrical issues and other problems when you add things like power poles and trolling motor. With the tower option, Whaler just cannot compete with true fishing brands. And they are not committed to making a true tarpon fishing boat. This is more of an attempt to grab some sales on the periphery. Look around, how many of the original BW 24 do you see with a tower. Very, very few and I had one of them. If your use case is to keep the boat for 20 years and only using it for running around the bays, it is fine. Anything else, there are much better boats. This is advice after making a serious $150k mistake.
