Good review thanks. I love my ‘23 Premium. Got it new for $31K w/ options & accessories. Great value and left plenty leftover for key upgrades (catback exhaust, Cobb AP w/ custom tune, oil catch canister, EBC brake pads and fluid, shifter upgrades, speaker upgrades and powered subwoofer, spoiler, STI trans & diff & motor mounts, UHP All-season tires, mud flaps, etc). The upgrades significantly improve the feel, performance and useability to a high level for this price segment.

Was that the premium with the Sunroof and Harmon Kardon sound system?
@Gergm7991Ай бұрын
No, that would’ve been an unheard of deal! Mine is basic Premium w/ Option Package 11 (auto dimming rear view and side mirrors, floor liners and cargo tray) and a few small dealer installed accessories. I didn’t want sunroof as I never use it on vehicles I’ve had. Just extra weight and expense. Total MSRP was $36K. I paid $31K plus 3% NC tax and title fee.

@Gergm799119 күн бұрын
As long as you’re getting at least 10-12% absolute minimum off MSRP or $4000-$5000. WRX sales have slowed significantly this calendar year. I easily got $5000 off my Premium in March. Wish I would have pushed for $6000 off.

I've got 35,00km (21,000m) on my 2022 WRX. My only mod is Hawk street pads and Motul 600 brake fluid. $500 fixes the only downside of this car. I don't care about the infotainment because Carplay/Android fixes what I use daily. The stock tires are crap, but luckily they don't last long. I did a track day last summer and expected to build a list of modifications from the experience. Sway bars.. coil overs... more horsepower... Nope. I dialed out oversteer with tire pressure only and was completely happy with the performance. I love this car... period. I'm keeping it forever.

People are really gravitating towards the VB. I get asked about my 24 often at random fill ups. Getting a JB4 on it was a game changer though. Acceleration is solid and torque stays flat from 2k rpm onwards. My only gripe are the brakes for DD, they work just fine. If you are solely judging the car for its braking ability get a TR or the upcoming TS. Premium with the sun and sound package was my spec along with the short throw shifter, and vortex generator. I truly love this car and would suggest to anyone curious to go test drive one. You might just drive it home.

For what it is meant to be and at that price point, it is still a very solid choice, if you consider ALL the R&D and evolution of the flat 4 and AWD, for so so many years!!! That is important. Where other manufacturers often try to pop out something brand new to temp you and also often front wheel drive, Subaru has kept it consistent and improve slowly in increments that give you something you can rely on for a proven experience in all weather.

I’ve owned a ‘22 Limited since new and I’m starting to get REALLY bored by it. I became a fan of the AWD system when I lived in Wisconsin and Alaska, but where I live now, it hardly snows. I haven’t modified it other than putting OEM accessories, but I don’t want to change everything (more hp, clutch, better engine sound). A Type R or Golf R have been calling my name
