I was a 10 year old Boston kid in 1970 when the bruins won the cup, I was a peewee hockey player then and that was an awesome time to be a kid. 🇺🇸

Excellent presentation. Thank you! Hockey rules! The era of LaFontaine and Mogilny as Sabres were breath taking.

I caddied once for Cliff Thompson at Bear Hill golf club in Wakefield. Probably around 1963 or 64. Rocky Marciano played golf there also a few times

I was a Ranger fan in the 60's and 70's, I hated the Bruins, but they were great!! I just couldn't take them beating the Rangers!! Watching all these film clips of Orr scoring on Giacomin is killing me!!

Why did Veteran Goldie Harry Lumey not play during the 1958 Final against the Habs instead of Simmons, who let in easy goals at critical times? Thus preventing Boston from Winning the Stanley Cup??? Lumley had been sent to Boston for this Scenario?

Started with the Big Bad Bruins 68-69. If it moves hit it. If it doesn’t move hit it too.

And to think that in the mid-1960s they had the rights to both Ken Dryden AND Bernie Parent and somehow let both get away...

Boston Bruins are not an original NHL club...they are an expansion club from 1924.

Someone doesn't know shit about hockey! Boston Bruins ARE part of the original six.
@jimdraven24327 ай бұрын
In the 1920's there were ten teams, & it wasn't even close to parity either. The Original Six are not the original teams of the NHL, as only the Canadiens and Maple Leafs (who were renamed the Leafs in 1927) are the two members of this group that are charter members of the NHL. However, the Original Six are considered a set for having joined the league by 1926, & thus being the NHL's oldest active franchises, as they are the 6 franchises that survives not only the Great Depression but World War II. So yes, the Bruins are an Original Six team.
