I can’t remember whether you wrote it in your guide, or said it on one of your early “introduction” videos, but it was something along the lines of “prices are surprisingly location sensitive”. That really hits home with this one. Kennaria is such “comparatively good value” compared to areas that seem “right next to it”. Trying to get a feel based on screens is a fools errand. Really need to come and spend a few weeks with boots on the ground… The temperatures should be just about perfect right on Eid this year…

It is nice l agree but it also comes with much racism from Maroc people and includes young boys tapping you up for money including banging on your door asking for 'euro'. You can quote me on all that because l had a lovely house in Morocco, as nice as this one, just beware, all is not as you think. Lucky for me my wife is Moroccan but if she is European she will be 'touched up' daily by nasty Maroc men.

I have stayed in Marrakech many times and I and my guests have never experienced anything like what you described. Everybody has been warm and friendly. It’s a wonderful city. And what a gorgeous property!!!

I wouldn't say there is a lot of racism. And generally, the ambience has improved markedly over the years. There can be banter from the young lads yet the won't come knocking on your door. My British wife walks in the Medina all the time and doesn't get hassled. Security is optimal throughout the city.

@@bosworthpropertymarrakech It is your job to say all is perfect on your planet Marrakech, from the time you drive off the jet at Tanger the police and customs are on you, droves of people offering help to scam you. If you plan on breaking any driving laws the police are everywhere with Kangoo vans, cameras on tripods at the entrance of toll booths to catch you I km over the limit. Anywhere you go as a foreigner they are wanting to sell you something at an inflated price, l have had small groups banging my door asking euro euro euro believe me. Having a Moroccan wife means that men driving cars will hoot and shout racist remarks at you. Thievery is in their blood they will steal anything from anyone and the women are good wearing 2 pairs of trousers, pulling the first ones down to put things in the crotch area to steal in shops. Look on the internet here you will find many videos of them plaguing tourists also many saying they will never go there.
