I have a degree in interior design, so i always have a critique or a tweak here & there, but not here. I think this might be perfect, i can't get over it. The design team did an absolutely fabulous job. 'That'll do pig(s).' It's been done with understated elegance & luxury, nothing is in your face screaming "i'm classy & expensive", it just is. We normally say a place is warm & inviting, but we'll have to switch it to cool for this place. 😄 It's a most beautiful, inviting oasis where you can cool down physically & chill out mentally. I wish i was still fit to travel, i'd book a room in a heartbeat. Hope whoever bought it is taking good care of it & has not decided to put their own design stamp on it.

Wow , stunning. The architecture , the finishes , the attention to detail are second to none. I’d personally do something a little different on the top terrace , but hey I’d be be very picky to find fault with this Riad. It fills your sense’s , a true inspiration.

Winston churchill felt in love with Marrakech... Sir Richard Branson also and he has a Moroccan castle near ouarzazate ..up in the mountains.. Yves saint laurent and Paul Bergé... And many others.. the city has a magical ambience. Modern and ancient at the same time. Nice weather, good food and the chance to espace from the stress of our busy lives in a soothing Riad like this one. ( not for everybody 😉)

Splendid. They did a fantastic job on the lighting fixtures & placement. All through the riad great attention to details. Great wall fixture at 2:27. Definitely made the room and set the atmosphere. But the best is the plaster and bathroom tile work. Just WOW! The plasterers are to be commended. True artists.

It doesn't rain much in Marrakesh. If it rains, there's a drainage system. Some houses have cisterns to collect rain water.

The internal courtyard floors are shaped to take the water to the main drain and out of the Riad. From there, it goes to the water treatment plants outside the Medina.

I'm not a specialist in Hindu architecture. However, the origins of Marrakech courtyard houses can probaly be found in Etruscan farmyards and Senegalese homestead compounds.
