This is what makes these so much BETTER than HPI. Its cheap enough to repair that you dont care if it gets beaten up. It clearly took a beating and like you said with the front chassis plate it would still be going now

The plastic from ROVAN is actually better then the plastic that Hpi used . And the Rovan aluminum is good also even the bearings are not bad at all also . I usually upgrade bearings but most of my friends don’t and they never had any issues yet even from washing there cars after every bash !

I think this is a excellent gas RC from Rovan. It has a 29cc motor, 9mm dogbones, cool allround tires, aluminium rear shock tower and great shocks, wheeliebar, dominator copy exhaust, symsteer and a nice colour scheme etc. A lot of car for the money!!! I am totally getting this for myself and the kids to try their first gas car. Excellent video ones again John, thank you!!

Tomberland that’s the first thing to do on this and probably the only thing because it does come with many upgrades already! I may do a little video of it ? I miss it and wished mine was already done so I could drive it around and do some long run wheelies with it and my daughters also want to drive that thing ! Trust me if it was ready to go I would have used it last Sunday at the bash/Race at li Bash!

I would never sacrifice my BAJA 5B or 5SC to build one of these just because I love them the way they are and feel but this Midget Baja Q is and feels like something else different it really does! Even though it’s a Baja at the end of the day it just feels and does things differently for bashing and especially in small properties or areas but it’s also great in a large area as well ! I would never use this for Drag racing but I will bash it

I have videos of this Baja Q showing everything I did to it . I added some bolt ons and kept the stock 29cc engine because it’s a great engine. I did lightened Flywheel, 990 Carburetor , RB intake, and full force high flow fuel kit and I used reflective tape underneath fuel tank and chassis /skid plate protection and more !! This video here was when I unboxed it and broke it in and beat the hell out of it to see if it’s durable out of the box 📦! Check them other videos out that I did after this day if you want and if you like to wrench 🔧 or work on your cars .

Then I mix in my big tank for 28:1 with ratio rite and use the little can for a filler like you were. Fill your tank. Fill the can and go for a drive. Perfect. My boy has it and my buddy too and myself lol

longboardguy hells yes but I don’t use it to mix my oil! I use this one that came with this RC just because it will fit the hole in the gas tank to fill it ! I love it and it works perfect! Wish I had a second one!!

BOTAJELL ah yes I heard you mention you don’t mix with it. I have a funnel thing I use from my 2T dirt bike riding days that works good it’s got measuring scale and ratios. It mixes small batches for a tank on a dirt bike so it’s more then good for Baja. I’ll have to take a look at that can as I can’t find something that fits the Baja tank hole either. O brother I got a cool find on eBay from Australia. A X-ray XT8 with a O.S. Spec V II VZB. Really nice truck ran competitions a while ago. Really excited to get it running 👍🔥. 🇨🇦. I’ll have to message ya directly soemetime show you some of the collection I got and my plans. Always watching for tips tricks and I just enjoy the content from nitro to duramax to gaming stuff and all in between. Have a good Sunday my bro. YO Vlogs i broke the new engine in rich settings for almost 1 gallon and did 4 15min heat cycles in the very beginning first was heat cycles then I tuned the carb to my liking of sound and looks and then I had a blast beating the shit out of it! Now I completely rebuilt this Baja Q and added many bolt on’s to the stock 29 Rovan engine to get more power out of it ! You can see everything I did to my Q because I just completed an 11 part video series on this RC on my channel. I’m waiting for good weather and free time so I can go drive it to see if there will be any difference! I still have not driven it but hopefully soon!

That thing is amazing, it flys! If you had that front skid plate reinforcement, that thing would be nearly indestructible any questions ha ha! I got myself a Rovan baja 5b 29cc that will be arriving soon, but I’m a little up tight about my decision, being the q baja is smaller and possibly easier to control overall. Do you think I should have got a Rovan Q baja instead?

Hallo Byebye nah I was not happy with my spectrum not my DX3 and not my DX4 and I hate my AVC so I ripped it all off my LOSI cars and trucks and my friends Also made me do it to there’s as well. We like to take control more and have that feeling especially when we jump our stuff! The AVC will mess things up on controlling your car in the air!! Anyways I love all my Futaba 4PLS and especially my 7PX but there was no need for me to get the 7PX at all and regret it now and I wished I had the 4PX because that’s all I need. You can very easily control how you want to turn your RC with your Futaba 4px , 7PX there are many sensitivity settings on it that you can do and I only use them for my PRIMAL RC Dragster and my BAJA that I set up for Drag racing. It’s a must especially with small tiny front wheels on my Dragster and Bishop front skinnies wheels on my Baja trust me . I just wished that my Futaba remotes was a cheaper price like my Spectrums were. I just gave my Spectrum DX3 away to a newbie friend that Bought my Nitro XXL LST 454 . Next I will be selling my DX4C and my Futaba 4PLS . I’m just going to stay with my 7PX and cheap Flysky for my kids
