Well, senpais can greet their kouhais without honorifics. Just that they chose to use honorifics whenever they want to. And there’s an inverted one between Shion and Gura. Gura simply addressed her as Shion without any honorifics but out of respect, she uses senpai when they are actually together.

There’s that one point Lamy actually said “Houshou Marine” during her pre-Birthday Event instead of “Marine senpai”. As mentioned, Gura addresses Shion without senpai sometimes. And there’s many times Miko was addressed as Mikochi by her kouhai instead of Miko senpai. There’s Botan who is a special case. She herself said that just because the HoloCouncil came after her, she did not really want to be called senpai. Wants to be on equal level. But then came the 6th Gen. At that point Botan cannot refuse the senpai honorific anymore. And there is Sora. While she may be the 1st Hololive member ever, she refuses to be called a goddess. She wants to be treated normally. Like being addressed as “Sora-chan”. Though that was addressed to her viewers more so than her kouhai and those in the same 0th generation as her.

Just had the stent removed on Wednesday but I ran a fever for the past 2 days (infection?) but now I'm just coughing so things are getting better. Happy 2022 😝

Mantle is correct in meaning a cloak/cape but not a term used much anymore in English except figuratively. Also there’s the earth’s mantle layer in geology, and old kerosene lanterns had a gas mantle (shroud) to provide light, but those aren’t used much anymore either. All generally mean a covering, but cape would be more recognizable word these days. Interesting how language changes.
