Hi Ocean - the brush size is a No. 1 round sable. It's not the smallest one you can get - they go down to 000 size. (They're too small for me though). Cheers David

Hi there, Great video. I was really interested in how you do your central vein. Drawing it in with paint. Do you do all your leaf veins like that? I'm currently learning watercolour and find leaves to be so tricky. Laura 🙂

Hi Charrlotte, I mainly paint on Arches 300gsm Smooth which is hot pressed. It has a great hard surface for fine detail. Cheers David

Hi David. Just wondering about the colours ... In your tea washes you used Paynes grey and sap green . Do you mostly use those colours for eucalyptus leaves? regards Jacqui

Hi Jacqui - those two colours are just a starting point. There are so many watercolour combinations for Euc leaves because they come in so many varieties. Best to experiment to see what works for any given Euc subject.
