Nice jigging session mate, On a roll with the new exist! Been thinking of giving this spot a go recently, the swell on the rocks have been bit wild.
@indosydneyfishing2 жыл бұрын
thanks mate, yea I think this Exist brought me some good luck lately. The swell here very minimal and I wouldn't consider this rock fishing though, very safe. Except when it rain, quite slippery
@owenx69932 жыл бұрын
@@indosydneyfishing yes I meant I should try this spot instead when swell for rocks on the east coast is too high. Is it snaggy?
@indosydneyfishing2 жыл бұрын
@@owenx6993 ahh gotcha. Not snaggy as long as your lure 20m in front of you, retrieve it up, plenty kelps & oyster.

Hey mate cool vid,what do I look for when choosing a shore jigging combo like yours?Can a 6-12 kg rod with a 5000 Sustain be good?
@indosydneyfishing2 жыл бұрын
Hey Josh, I recommend look at the Max Lure weight for the rod. if you planning light setup (5g - 20g), Medium setup (20g-40g) and heavy setup (40g-120g). If you choose Sustain 5K reel, I think you'll need Rod for the Medium setup (20g-40g)
@joshzfishing2 жыл бұрын
@@indosydneyfishing Thanks mate,the rod I am looking at is Daiwa Td black slugger

Hey mate, I always have my treble hook at the rear tangles with leader line. Any tips to avoid this? Or should I just remove it? Not sure if this will affect hook up rate though😂
@indosydneyfishing2 жыл бұрын
I personally liked to hop my rod up and down fast, to ensure it’s not tangled, yes I took the treble off and sometimes i put single assist hook on the bottom i/o trebles. I hate trebles man, it stuff up the fishing net too haha

Hey mate are you letting the jig sinking to the bottom?

hi Josh, if no bustup on top, yes always on the bottom. If you see bustup, usually I just quick retrieve as soon it hit the water or mid water then jig.

Why do people not lift the fish via the main line/braid when landing?
@indosydneyfishing2 жыл бұрын
Hi Liam, based on my personal experiences and advices from others too, pulling from braid line instead of leader will cause your braid to leader connection to snap because you have 2 knots (braid to leader and leader to your hook or lure). It happened to me on a numerous occasion in the past. So I always lift the fish safely from leader. Hope this make sense :)
