Funny, my recipe for Chicken parm is a combination of Mythical kitchen's chicken parm, (Which is slightly different than this one) and I used the basic pizza sauce recipe made by babish on the chicago style pizza episode. To finish, I do something slightly sacrilegious, make a bed of garlic butter noodles and put the pam chicken on top. Kind of like serving it with tiny strings of garlic bread was my thought on that.

I always make extra fried chicken and put it away for the next day. Then add the cheese and sauce before broiling. It's a slightly less crispy version but still amazing the next day.

The "shaking the pan" technique reminds me of what I do at work when I'm making stuff in our deep fryer. If it isn't evenly browned I just take the fryer basket out and shake it a few times.

Oh definitely shake the basket in the oil if it's inside a deep fryer, but don't shake the pan full of hot oil on a gas burner- unless you want the insurance money and don't want your eyebrows.

Hate to say it, but I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s thinking this. Once Babish launched “Babish Culinary Universe” the videos just became harder to watch and forced. I really disliked that series with Sohla, admittedly those were REALLY painful to watch. Babish, get back to basics bro and dance with who brought you to the dance. Coke classic is still around for a reason…
