Coming from someone that works in the construction trade! Be smart and buy pressure treated lumber for building the gates etc. using non pressure treated out in the elements is like taking the donation money and tossing it in the creek to wash away. 😂

I have so much respect for this crew and community. My god this is cool as shit, I gotta talk my wife into taking a vacation out there soon. Also - bears hate cayenne pepper; and pole-saws are amazing at clearing those little dead branches on trees and most extend to 6-8 feet. I picked up an electric one that runs on 40v rechargeable batteries, game changer. Cheers brother 🤘🤘

You can get Bear spray to deal with Bears. It's like mace/pepper spray but with long range. I'm thinking that they will stay away if you are loud and don't leave food out to attract them.

On path you can lay down a geotextile to prevent weed growing, throw pebbles on it. On parking place you can do the same. From cut trees you can make a little fence.

I think it would be cool to incorporate nature to the park. Example clearing sections of the dense canopy to have flyable tunnels, Dive gaps within the dense brush, features built up high off the trees. Could even encourage vine growth to cover manmade features. Example; discarded concrete culvert with earth moved around it. Large corrugated tube and damaged construction tunnels that may be discarded (FO FREE) being in philly im sure you could reach out to contractors to get all sorts of large items that would be better used at your park. Lots of features can be made of discarded construction materials. You'll just need to find someone with a truck and trailer. You also might be able to get the paintball community involved in this project. A lot of paintball features would work for FPV. Also, mountain bikers and bmx riders would probably like a place to build dirt jump trails which would be even more 0 effort features for the fpv community.

Growing up in south florida avacado trees were absolutely everywhere. You would find them on ground all crappy looking like in video, i dont eat anything green or fruit so I always thought they were rotten if they had blemishes like that.

So i backpack and camp. Reminds me of clearing spots for disc golf courses here in North TX. Its rough here with weed still being turbo illegal and dabs are auto felonies (LOL). I need a van so i can cross country out to there and rip. If you put the park behind a nonprofit for drone education/culture you might be able to skip property taxes.
