One thing I'm learning in lawn care is patience. It's a marathon not a sprint. Aim for progress not perfection.

And it’s WORTH it too! And then like he does here, we can pass along that knowledge and help others

We finally had seedlings sprout on day 6 here in Albany Oregon... we were stressing though, thinking our bag of blackout seed was a big dud LOL... today is now day 10 and it looks beautiful throughout or 1100sq foot lawn - thanks to following your technique!!

Yes that is def a thought in our minds during overseeding anxiety... THIS IS A BAD BAG! 😂 I think I've had a bad bag every time I've seeded every project 😂 Stoked your lawn is looking good it gets even better! ☺️🤙🏾

When it comes to sidewalk weeds / grass I use boiling hot water in a TeaPot to kill it off without using chemicals or digging.

Put seed down in mid March, soil temps were between 45 and 50, air temps between 40 and 70. Rye came up in 14 days and took longer to grow. But now the rye is full, mowed multiple times, and will be ready for Summer (:

Back yard hasn’t sprung yet! Just a lot of that white from the Tenacity. But front yard only took 7 days to pop thanks to pregermination 🎉

I'm done with ryegrass, constant battles with bare spots, weeds and poa. Starting again with a bent/fescue mix, what that carpet look, my 100% bent lawn looks great at the moment
@YardBrah6 ай бұрын
ooooooo... bent/fescue mix?!?! have you done it before and is it crazy looking? SUPER LOW cut mixed with SUPER HIGH cut? I'm intrigued 😂🤙🏾

I'm addicted to the the tanks as well have way to many lol been wanting to try salt water.
@YardBrah6 ай бұрын
I had a nice saltwater tank whole cast of Nemo, a ton of corals (thousands of dollars worth of coral ridiculous) and more... very expensive hobby it's no where near as affordable as fresh water... went on vacation hired a guy to take care of the fish, came back 3 weeks later and the idiot never showed up straight ghosted and took my money 🤦🏾♂️ floating fish once I got back and the smell was incredible... I was so pissed 🤦🏾♂️ I will start another one one day, saltwater fish move different it's awesome! ☺️🤙🏾

With the weekly mollycoddle approach do you cut back on the liquid fert each time so the monthly sum ends up being as recommended?
@YardBrah6 ай бұрын
For regular home applications a little extra splash of product never hurt anyone but yes try to stay monthly recommended and divide if you are doing weekly or bi weekly... me personally.... I go double rate 2oz per week per product and now that we don't use a lot of phosphorus that will impact our water systems I can do it without worry. Again this is not necessary but adjust as you go if the recommended rate is too light or fades quickly, bump up the rate ☺️🤙🏾

I need to get on the overseeding before it gets too hot 🔥 do you know if rye grass and ttf can be seeded in the same lawn
@YardBrah6 ай бұрын
It can for sure just will be a huge color difference... tttf is a bit lighter... unless you use the barenbrug regenerating perennial rye cause that rye is a little lighter than most but if you go with hat trick / fireball rye anything mixed with it will look like poa 😂🤙🏾
@Edgar_Alaniz01216 ай бұрын
@YardBrah thank you bro might have to start from scratch then because I got hat trick Fireball seed
