FYI: The major diffrence between the FIM-92E and K in war thunder is that the FIM-92K has a proximity fuse and the "E" does not.

I’m honestly surprised you used the 2B over the tandem warhead for the Wiesel, in my experience the tandem kills better than the 2B as it’s more reliable.

I tried both and had a lot more luck with the 2B until I ran into the Turms. Then I started carrying the 2A in the later rounds.

My fault. I was the one who suggested Bo go with the 2B initially because the top attack is deadly awesome against hull down knuckleheads plinking across the map from their fave hidey places (you know who you are :-) ). Also makes for some pretty spectacular “hiding behind a rock” kills. But the Turms Reactive package really begs for the 2A. And we started seeing aLOT of them after a bit. This was a real fun bunch of rounds to play.

From what I can find is similar to what Orphican found. When the E came out in 1995 it had a new rollover sensor and revised control software. The J had a proximity warhead and new flight motors and gas generator cartridges. The K was basically a J that was designed to use a vehicle's datalink instead of it's own seeker for targeting.

Fun fact about the Ozelot: They're used (obviously) as mobile anti air and the commander of the unit said that he was told by pilots that they're way more afraid of these little fellas than of the big ones - probably because they can not only shoot and scoot, but literally pop up almost everywhere.

the FIM-92J is literally a upgraded FIM-92E the FIM-92K is a modified FIM-92J without fire-and-forget capabilities, they basically removed the seeker head from the J variant and added a proximity fuse and datalink capabilities, it basically means the FIM-92K HAS to be guided by the vehicle that launched it IRL it works because a platoon of Ozelots would include radar variants of the vehicle that could keep track of the target and guide the FIM-92K through the shared datalink, however in WT we don't have the radar vehicle and they should replace the K with the J variant

Games playing ominous sounds while they're not supposed to is the creepiest thing ever. I've only had 2 experiences when it was scary thankfully. One was a wrestling game for the Wii, referee started counting down from 10 for no reason in the middle of the match. When he hit 0, the Wii turned off. There was also a time when I was playing a top down zombie shooter on the phone, and while loading into a map. The game crashed, and for some reason started playing faint terrified screaming. Great mood background noise, not so wonderful when your phone says the app isn't running so you can't force stop it

FIM 92K was introduced in 2018...it has a Proximity Fuse to help murder very small drones. E was 1990s. The Ocelot doesnt have Radar...it uses a Full Infra Red Search And Track system.
