We'd not expected to skate today as the weather was so damp. So we thought we'd check put Botleys progress. Then we spotted this bank in Wheatly, stopped by Bartons ond bendcrete crust, and ended at Cutteslowe.

No way. I've been gone for years. I had no idea Botley bowl was gone. My mate Rob came second in a comp there 😂Big fat melon fakie was what did it for him.

Hopefully the Botley bowl lasts longer than the last one. I can only speak from my experience but Botley has always been a weird one for Oxford. The only place where I experienced negativity from the local skaters and the council. I went to the SS20 Botley thing at the school prob 1990 ish with Doug James from Blackbird Leys DJ'ing. Another time I skated the Hartwell carpark in Botley as it was raining and the locals were aggressive and shit. The last time was the bowl prob mid to late 90's.

Yeah. That was the old bowl. Idiots stole a car, drove it in there and set it on fire, destroying the concrete.
